In the early 90's I had a college roommate who traded a fully restored one of these for some souped up new civic. His dad was a big car guy and let him sell it after pretty much giving up on trying to get the kid into cars. At least the rest of us got to drive it while he had it-which was pretty damn cool when you don't even have a car!

Of course this one may have a few mods ha ha. Love that color btw

It has an onboard compressor. The gauge on the left is how much air is in the tank. The gauge on the right is how much air is in the rear air shocks. Th button in the middle is how you add/release air from the air shocks. It also has air horns.

I don't know much about older cars. Do the mods help value or hurt?

    Truthful answer? Yes.

Basically, it just changes the market. Someone who is into perfectly restored cars simply won't be interested in this one. But modified cars have come into their own in the last ten or twenty years, and as such their value has risen. I'd have to call and check, but if I recall correctly, the last time this one was appraised, the value came in around $125,000. To have a car like this built however would probably run you a good $250K, maybe more.
