My Brothers, I have a great client selling a very special car. Here are the details Nearly identical to the Type 35 in its form factor, the Type 51 distinguishes itself with a slightly larger radiator, dual filler caps, and a dual-overhead cam supercharged straight-eight cylinder engine producing around 150-160 horsepower (more than the T35). This was Ettore Bugatti's answer to Alfa Romeo's engine innovations and racing success. As with all of the Pur Sang recreations, this model is an identical recreation to the original, (and visually indistinguishable from the original) with a few additions for modern driving convenience, such as an electric temperature-controlled radiator fan, electric starter (vs the crank), electric fuel pump (vs manual hand pump), and plain-bearing crankshaft for longevity (vs roller bearing). This vehicle was constructed and delivered to its first owner in 2008 and was regularly maintained by the pre-war and Bugatti experts at High Mountain Classics, with no stone unturned or expense spared (as evidenced by service records). This is a three owner vehicle. It has most recently been with Pur Sang in Costa Mesa, CA for a comprehensive inspection and tune-up in August 2023. A newly commissioned Type 51 from Pur Sang would cost well over $300K before shipping and importations costs. Runs and drives perfectly and reliably; it is hot, fast, scary, intense, and the most fun I have ever had driving a vehicle. I drive it at least once a week in any temperature (obviously never driven in the rain). It handles remarkably well and loves to be run on backroad drives around twisties. I have had it on highways at highway speeds - performance is increible, and then even more impressive considering it is nearly 100-year old technology. It has always been lovingly cared for, never abused. Asking $259,000 which could include getting into John Bothwell's hands at Pur Sang for an inspection and 'warranty' Selling due to rejiggering concentration of assets into business buyout; depending on length of time to transact, I may end up keeping Absolutely nothing wrong with car; I genuinely love it Registered and titled in Montana as a 1931 Bugatti Type 51 Does not have an odometer, so no clue how many miles are on it $259,000 Mike 973-610-7111 Please read my reviews https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/anyone-that-wants-to-buy-or-sell-a-ferrari-the-right-way.586271/ Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

It is indeed my old car. Lovely thing to drive and Pursang went through it in it’s entirety when I sold it and included a warranty as well. If you’re into visceral engaging drives these should be on the short list. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wow. So many cars in this price range. None of them approach the level of art in this car. It is an absolutely amazing car!
In all seriousness, this is the most exquisite exercise machine on planet earth given the full efforts it takes to move that car down the roadway. The antithesis of self-driving cars!
I love it, I wish I had the money, I'd buy it today. Especially since my wife would commit me once she saw it!
I almost never comment on listings, but holy living masterpiece! I have the room, but a different agenda. GLWS!
Well I could swing it today but my single garage where I live is already stuffed with so many house projects and plus a 2.0L 4 cam Maserati Race engine that needs the valves shimmed and cams timed then installed in my race car ... Plus I'd be hanging soon after I told my wife about it ... Besides there are no cup holders! It is gorgeous and if we were already out of NJ and into our new house she might say yes. Good luck with your sale though I'm certain you'd miss it.
My brothers, I just received four spectacular driving and feature videos of this Bugatti. The files are too large to load on FERRARI CHAT. Please give me a call and I am happy to text or email you the videos!! PS I am open to discussing Reasonable offers Thanks Mike 973-610-7111
