    where was the controversy, there was a polite conversation about clarifying what a panorama is/isn't and what the differences are between UWA and panorama's.

    yes the thread is spits and giggles but if something can be learned, why not.

    Sorry, I don't like this idea.

    I think any image that is LABELED as a entry is one and an example is one. It seems like such a hassle and will exclude people who post it one or two days or weeks in advance.

    Just my 2c, he also did clearly label his as "an example..."

    By black and white you mean real black and white, or a color pic with the channel mixer in in fauxtoshop......:D

    Actually I think it darn near turned into that a couple contests ago didn't it? I seem to remember in the 16th contest (I think) a LOT of debate over what B&W really was.

    ;)

    I didn't have time to try figuring out panoramas this time around. It is something I'd like to learn though.....someday!

    A few years ago, I did a lot of real estate photography. Got a nice little tripod head, that had a level and degree markings on it, and you'd spin it around taking pictures. Fun stuff :)
