Congrats to BAKY, the theme this time will be panoramas. Rules: Photo must be taken between 5/12-6/12 Uploaded to Fchat, not linked Please rename your photo to your username, ie "username.jpeg" The first 3 weeks will be used to post experimental photos, during the last week is when uploading of official entries will begin. I think that's it, can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.
If I'm not mistaken aren't photos limited to 800px in each direction. Should we just post thumbnails, and link to a high-rez?

or Kodak, as above. I'm going to try using my DSLR though. Way more work, but turnout should be worth it.
You could always take a picture normally and then just crop it. With the amount of pixels these days you don't *have* to do multiple pictures for a pano.
Really excited for this topic! I wish I could enter this photo...but I guess it'll serve as another "example" photo. -G.B. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Canon provides a thing called PhotoStitch, but I'll see how it turns out, or just try CS5, haven't used pshop in a while.
+1 No kidding. Maybe Marc should be excluded from this one!? Just kidding but that will be some very stiff competition!!
thumbs up to the winner... sorry for the drama of the topic I picked. looking forward to the new topic. If anyone needs free pano software Microsoft also has a free pano software people are using to good effect I've seen around; http://research.microsoft.com/en-us/um/redmond/groups/ivm/ICE/ I've loaded it but haven't really played with it as my e-p1 has a pano mode that works with the Oly software.
Since we're posting examples I'll chime in as well Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
