Are there pictures of this car in the book: FERRARI-FLAT-12, THE RACING CAREER OF FERRARI'S 3-LITRE G.P. & SPORTS CARS, Alan Henry ?

No - there are no BBs in this book - the clue is in the title - FERRARI'S 3-LITRE

that is 18139 - there will be quite a few photos of 18139 in my Boxer book to be published later this year - I can't post them here because they are not my copyright. I only have permission to use them in my book.

    Why the obsession with 18139?

Read an email from the owner of 18095. Car has great history.
2 x Le Mans.............? I know I saw Sheehan's ads on the cars. Sometimes as 18139, 18095 and 18193..........confusing is it?
So two cars are claiming the same history? Maybe it is the third....! :)

I drove 18139 in the 1984 LA Times GP for Mike. I think I have more pix somewhere, but the attached are what the car looked like at that race.

There is a video on YouTube of most of the race and the car is shown several times in it. It is the broadcast video. The car was not very competitive, but sounded great and was fun to drive. There are tons of photos of it online and at least a couple of models. Cool car! Ed Swart was a codriver. I'm David Christian.

Looks like this thread has slowed down, but I did finally find some more pix of the car at Riverside in 1984.

I am virtually certain this is the last time the car was really driven in anger. I was lucky enough to be the guy in the red driving suit in the pit shots.

    Cool car, for sure.

It was the very first BB racecar, converted from a street car by Chinetti.
