I liked their F330 also and in Matte Gunmetal it would look pretty good, like newer 355 Speedlines in character and better than the Challenge (which look dated and boring to me compared to the OEM speedlines). I can' t use 355 wheels myself the pot holes wold destroy them I need wheels that are replaceable.

These F330 would probably look great but there is something about those F330 and F430 5 spoke styles I don't like that I can't quite put my finger on. I bet they looks amazing though.

Its hard to fin a wheel that's not too modern and not too ricer but yet not dated as in why did you bother replacing them either. Tough to pick the right wheel and I get its subjective.

    $1550 - $2000+ each...... ouch.

Have to balance out the project(s) and look at the overall picture of what I want to accomplish.. new brakes, new tires and wheels, new seats, suspension upgrades all add up, quickly and will not see any return on resale.
Like a house remodel, go with a Kitchen Aide refrigerator instead of the Sub-Zero, Dacor range instead of the Viking. You only really get money back if you spend on bathrooms and kitchens, and then what is the big picture....... that's the job of the designer. It's way to easy to spend if you only look for the absolute best and use someone elses pocketbook. If I could spend that much, I'd be picking up a 488 instead ;)

I for some reason a big fan of a 5 spoke. The the original 355 speedlines for example set the car nicely for a long time. But they are definitely outdated now, need a fresh, new rims. New wheels would update the 355 so much better. I love the Avant Garde F330 and F430 but not sure what I might go with myself. I personally love their design. It's modern, and not too much of a crazy design.
The prices definitely not on a cheap side. But you know what they say, you want to play you need to pay. Good looking rims on a Ferrari definitely worth $3-5K

People live those lm type dished birds nest bbs type wheels. To each thier own but thats definitely a dated design, I remember fhe 80s with that style. I recall 1990 Firebird had them factory. In gold no less.

if you want to go aftermarket 18" on the 355.. nothing will look correct.. with 18", unless you lower car significantly..

I have kept my stock 18s on my 355.. as well as lowered height

I have messed around with rims on cars for years..
rule of thumb as soon as you go aftermarket, it MUST be one size higher..

look at all those pics above of 355 with aftermarket 18s they all look horrendous.
the only few that are aftermarket 18's ( ei: BBS) look ok because the car is slammed..

if you go aftermarket 18" and intend to keep you current ride height.. it will look ridiculous.. only the stock 18" gets away with it.

the pics that are 19s are the only ones that look really good.

There are some nice 19's out there but for my eyes, they make the F355 look too much like a "Hot Wheels" exaggeration. IMO 18's and slamming also look horrendous, like some ricer finally got his Ferrari and wanted to perpetuate the look of his taste. There are many a wheel out there in 18 that will work quite nicely, look elegant, work well with the body lines in standard ride height. It does take time to find as there are more and more styles out there to choose from, from race influence, old school "Miami Vice" styling, and ultra modern wheel sculpture jewelery. It's all a matter of taste and pleasing yourself and your individual needs, not pleasing others, unless "showing off" is your thing, but that tells more about the person than it is about the car. There is no "set rule" in choosing for a specific car.
    just my .02 ( as well as between $3k & $5k ;) ).

I don’ think any of those aftermarket wheels improved the F355 looks over the factory wheels. There were a few that detracted from it.

I agree Jim. The factory wheel even has some of the body styling elements in it. It's the perfect wheel, esthetically, for the F355.

There are some better wheels, (5 spoke challenge wheels are not one) but most of what folks put on are not better I agree.

Challenge wheels are light, strong and can take a lot of abuse. I'm not going to refinish my Challenge wheels. There's lots of racing history on them...
