    Hi all--

I'm in the market for an enclosed trailer. Before I buy a bone bare one I thought I'd check to see if anyone has something of interest.

I almost had to buy a stacker because it matched my 42 ft Monaco. Luckily for my savings account it sold.

    Will consider 20 ft stacker.

Prefer closeby but hopefully picking up car in Long Island,NY so will consider trailers located anywhere.

    PM. For my cell/text.

    I found a beat up 20 I really like but its 22'10" total. RV is 39with a 12" hitch.
I texted a CHP friend who works Mojave and he said they never get involved with over length but a local trailer business guy said he has customers who HAVE been stopped and checked. 60 ft is max in CA. Most states 60-65.

When I finally decided to downsize from my 40' Stacker & Freightliner Sportchassis combo, I went with al aluminum 20' Montrose trailer. They come in various configurations, with dual or single escape doors and offer light weight (in my case 2300#) versions and lot's of storage compartments, winches, etc. I don't miss the added stress associated with pulling a huge vehicle.
