I agree with you! I think it's going to be a great car and fit into the overall portfolio very nicely. Nice to have choices within the marque.

The complaints on this forum are typical of many forums and group thinks... people start revelling in the negativity and try to out-wit one another with hyperbole. I got an email from a fellow that is at the factory today to review the car. He indicated it is really stunning in person.

The negativity is right in line with other Ferrari launches. I remember when the 360 was introduced. The outcry was amazing. The scorn heaped on Ferrari for the "twin nostril" design, faults with everything from the size to the headlights to the rear... etc. etc. Now it is viewed as the way "Ferrari's should be designed" by many.

Bottom line: Buy what you enjoy. Buy the car and drive it with passion. If it does it for you that's all that matters. Who cares what some negative fool pontificates about?

Finally...!!! I was waiting for someone to Photoshop it in black. Looks awesome - of course...! Thank you. Any chance you can black out those wheels, tint the windows, and smoke the lenses...?

 

Is this car for real? This design actually makes the 599gtb look good.

 

Some of us still think its a poor design.

Personally I like the front end of the Cali...it looks like a Ferrari. The rear however is hideous and like the 360s 'twin nostrils' Im sure I will always find it hideous.

But as we all say...to each his own. I hope the true Ferrari enthusiasts that buy them enjoy them.

 

The fixed roof design is very Mercedes SL. I haven't made up my mind, not that it matters.

Looks really bad.

Still can't belive it's a Ferrari.

 

Looks very Japanese.

 

- Chinese brake/reverse lower lights
- Cheap japanese style wheels
- Corvette side mirrors
- Awful tail pipes
- They try to build a yuppie car and forgot to put a keyless entry
- Awful plastic side vents
- not nice engine bay

For me is a step backwards for Ferrari.

 

looks like it should have the Dino name on it....

 

the look of the exhaust pipes on the side view is awful..

i have to say, the more i see the less i like.
Now just have to wait to see it live, then maybe......

 

The rear end might look better with a rear registration plate in place to break up the black panel.

Still need to see in person, some parts look good... others not so good. But those wheels look very similar to Lexus wheels...

personally speaking I think the tires are ugly and those valve stems
have got to go!

 

not for me, they are normal without exess style, i will prefer other open door..something different
they look boring. strange the light from the rear just above the tubi exhaut if they are in plastic made probably some problem here.
