    Cool shot.

    I think a retro theme is what is best suited for a B/W shot. I was trying to convey that with my Beatles picture. No offense but for instance the shot of the 250 GTO in a modern environment to me looks simply like a picture that is missing its colors.

    Now a B/W picture with a period correct background (think Goodwood) addresses that issue quite nicely (and no, this is not taken within the contest's period either):

    I disagree that a modern shot of the 250 GTO in a modern environ cannot look right... but I'll save my comments until the actual contest :)

    I'm trying to figure out what the halos around the metal and stairs are. I'm not sure I've ever seen anything quite like that.
