    Just got the car back today. Lowered it 1in all around, corner balance, align, and skid plates.

    The Capristo Racing Exhaust and Capristo Test Pipes.

    Here are some pics. I dont have time to do sound clips yet, but this car is very very loud. F1 or Moto GP loud. I love it. I think it needs to be 1/2 in lower all around but Simon said to drive it for 500 miles and let it break in. Then bring it back and we can drop it some more.

    Looks much better lowered. I am sure it will still drop a little bit after you drive it for a little while.

    There are a few minor things I would have done differently but the overall effect is outstanding! I'd lower it another 1/2" in the front and leave the rear as-is :)

    I asked about the 1/2 in in the front only. They said these cars are very sensitive to change and better not to just lower the front and not the rear. Want to keep it the same all around. So I will probally do 1/2 in all they way around.

    Congrats Dave, it's beautiful.
    My mechanic said for f430 is 13turns front and 12 turns for the rear.

    Dave, how is the ride quality? Is it bumpy?

    I am 8 turns front and rear. I think what you said will make it perfect. I will pass it on.

    It it about 99% the same as stock for the ride. My exhaust is so loud I cant think of what else is going on. But that is how I wanted it.

    Sad to see the car go. Looked and SOUNDED great! =)

    Yes, as Dave said, this car particularly is very sensitive to aero imbalance with the underside engineered the way that it is. For a pure street car that may not matter to upset the balance, but for a car that is tracked (as Dave does track his cars) it is important.

    We are lucky that we have on staff a proper engineer from the Indy Car series. It allows us the luxury of having real thought and experience behind what we do!

    Only problem is most people paint them. Then when I turn the car back in I have to buy new ones becuase they are not legal. Which I am sure cost alot of money.

    I could also buy the black ones but they cost a bit also.

    The tint cost me $40. If i get a ticker i pull it off show the cop. Then pay $40 to put it back on.

    Maybe it's me, but wouldn't it seem more appealing if the 430 engravings were filled with black? (The sides of the car, with the mirrors)

    Hi,

    I am ordering the Capristo racing and Hyperflow cats for my F430. Wondering how you like the Cap racing exhaust on your car? The mods look very nice, congrats. How loud is the cap racing exhaust? Is it louder than the std F430 set up with valves open? Thanks.

    The car is crazy F1 loud. Very Loud. I love it. But might be to loud for some. It vibrates your toes at startup.
