Interesting approach. Pricing a Mondial cab at $139,000 really entices me to make a best offer. My guess is that we will see that car pop up many times if he sticks to that successful approach.
Glad to see that prices on Mondials are going up!!!! All it takes is one. Hey- if he sells it, then mine is easily worth 200K! No complaints here. I kinda hope he gets it! Then I will trade up to an f430 too.
Just jumping in here. I have no idea what a 15k mile car is worth. But it is interesting to note there are 4 mondi cabs for sale in the US right now all with less than 40k miles on them. All of them are under $25k.
Maybe the guy's wife told him to sell the car or face a divorce! And maybe he is telling her "I am trying to honey bunny but look no one's even interested in it!" LOL Sometime ago, we needed to sell one of my cars. I had it over priced and for sale for about three years. I got away with it and managed to stall for that long before she caught on!
I put a best offer in at 30k and he took it, I also live nearby so I can easily inspect it. I will let you know how it is. But for 30k it seems okay to me especially with 15k service.
Nope. At that low a mileage there is bound to be a LOT of rubber stuff that needs replacing. Oil leaks that need addressing, etc. And no offense meant, but it IS a mondial. I like them, and I want a 3.2 one day, but in today's market, I could do better.
You made a good deal. I bought mine a year ago for more with 19,000 miles. I now have 25,000 miles plus and have enjoyed it more than I ever imagined. Good Luck!
Maybe he's a smart guy that promised his wife he would get rid of the car and list it on EBay for an immediate sale. She's happy and the guy bought some time to shut her up!
