Anyone know anything about this? http://bit.ly/11Wcj3u I give him 10 now. Contacted him. As if I need another Ferrari. But for 10k is worth parts to me.
I would only do the deal face to face with cash exchanged for "title/car/bill of sale" as that has all the markings of a scam with a zero feedback seller and a 1/4 of market starting price.
Exactly Something is fishy I did buy a 308 for 10k once but that was through a fellow fchater. Sight un-seen. They are out there.
Possibly sold here for $17.5k Viewing Auction #270580111894 - 1985 Cabriolet, Red with Tan - Stunning! | Keith Martin's Collector Car Price Tracker Pictures appear the same. SCAM is my vote.

Seen this car before for sale. Its an 85 QV car and engine but with 3.2 body parts and after market stuff elsewhere. Not bad for a proj car you can get for cheap, use it as a daily driver, and most people wouldn't know otherwise. Worth a look but if he's asking $10k, I'll bring $7k cash to the table! good luck
Did you notice the pictures in the ebay listing came from the Price Tracker Auction site that references a previous ebay sale?
Ask this guy if he has a relative in Wisconsin. I responded to one of these types of ads for a car in Wisconsin. Send me the money, I'll send you the car. When I emailed him and told him I was ready to fly to Wisconsin, look at the car, and buy it. He didn't respond to any of my emails from then on. Good luck. ceb39
Here's the email I recieved: "Hi there, The vehicle has absolutely no mechanical problem, the exterior has no scratches, rust or dents and the interior is like new, no accidents. The vehicle belonged to my father and he died 3 months ago, I'm trying to sell it for a lower price because I don't need it. The shipping and handling will be included in the price. I have a clear title for it. The transaction will be done trough eBay, this is the safest way for us both. Let me know if you are still interested I will explain you everything. Thank You! Tim Matthews" Yeah right. I pass. Last time I had a Ferrari shipped to me, it was about 2k. Ha ha
Looks like ebay listing has been pulled. Mike is right, the car has been advertised and discussed here before. Looks like the same mileage 4 years ago as well. Sketchy! http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/mondial/266269-were-some-1985-3-0-qv-mondials-later-bodies.html
Same story on a motorcycle a few years ago. I was in CA and ad was local. They said send money we'll ship bike. Said I'd like to look at it. It was "in a warehouse in Atlanta" I said great i'm going to be there next week and would like to arrange to look at it. Amazingly there was no one would could provide access to the warehouse.
Just got a fraud alert from eBay. I had responded to the ad. "Our records show that you recently contacted or received messages from powell9kk through eBay's messaging system.
