Sk speed carries VP racing fuel. I would just buy a 55 gallon drum and a pump.

55 gallons X 8lb.s per gallon = 440 lbs. of fuel..sorry cant lift it myself..
But they sell 5 gallon cans for $70.00...40 lbs. is light enough!

    VP racing fuel
    Thanks Dan..

Bellmore Road, N. Bellmore 3 blocks North of the Southern state, there is a station pumps 100 octane into a car or they have a 110 octane pump( Has lead) but the 110 has to be pumped into a gas can.I used to go there every week with my Evo , i was tuned for 100 with 38 pounds of boost .

What is your goal with 100 octane fuel? Additional octane is only needed if you have very high boost or compression, it doesn't really give you any more power for cars that aren't highly modified. Non-ethanol gas, on the other hand, will give you more power because ethanol reduces power/mileage (even though it raises octane). Apologies for the lecture if you really need more octane.

    From what I recollect
A higher octane fuel is less likely to ignite from
Heat alone such is the case with lower octane fuels
Contrary to instinct, higher octane is more about quality of combustion than quantity of volitility
A higher octane gas needs a higher temp to ignite
This temp is unlikely to exist after the engine is shut electrically
Certainly power is not why i am willing to try it!
    Something like that!

    Classic example
Pinging is actually pre ignition of low octane fuel inbetween
    Cycles of 4 stroke engine
    Raise octane reduce pinging
Dieseling is actually post shut off pinging

All true. I just saw your other thread about the dieseling on your (beautiful) Cobra, so in that context, 100 Octane would almost certainly help. It must be running a very high compression ratio to diesel every time under proper tune.

Unless your car is tuned to take advantage of it it's a complete waste of effort.
If you're not hearing pings your driving or run-on when when you shut off then forget about it. And even if you are check that you ignition is correctly setup first.

Well OK then. But you might have mentioned that to begin with.

So basically you're F'ed without it.
