I'm starting this thread becaue i think it would be better to put here all the news and new arrivals from all the marques instead of creating individual threads for each one, this way it's easier for everyone to keep up with the new models that are cal team, and coming out.

Tecnomodel as just anounced the 365 p2 (elefantino bianco) in 3 versions, le mans 66, le mans 67 and presentation.
I asked them if they would do the "regular versions" spider, from the oficial team and they said yes, it's also planed for this year....:)

I think this is a great idea. I will try to keep anything 1:18 scale here.

Yes. But do you mean each and every news, or just new releases? I noticed that a lot of 1/18 models have been announced, but that doesn't mean you can order and receive them right now, if ever.

I guess we can put everything...i know that many models will never see the light but most of them yes.....sometimes i even think that marques are testing us, showing models to see how we react, and then build the ones people seem to be more interested in.
I do believe however that with resin, much more models will be made in smaller quantities. BBR anounced many models for this year, and they showed prototype pictures of most of them. The 335s, the 250 tr 60, the 61 and 62 models, all of them seem to be pretty advanced ion terms of development......but i'm sure we will see many of them at the nuremberg toy fair.

    Ferrari 512M:
    Sunoco/Ferrari, #11 Le Mans 1971; #4 ’70 Kyalami; #6 Le Mans ’71 (Filipinetti); #9 Le Mans ’71 (Camel); #10 Le Mans ’71 (Gelo); #15 Le Mans ’71 (Tergal); #16 Le Mans ’71 (Piper); and #142 Tour de France ’71 (Tergal).

Hand built by or from Antonio Pinna.

No mention that I can find of how many of each will be made, and prices are rather high at €419.95. That's EUROS, not Dollars...... For these prices I would expect and want every exterior detail to be there and perfect, as well as whatever can be seen in the interior. Though the model shown is a good start, there is still certainly room for improvement.

Have seen several for sale on Ebay. While the 512M is my holy grail of scale models, not for that price. I hope to see one of these in real life soon (Techno Classica) to see if the model is any good. It's always difficult to judge from pictures if the overall stance and shape is correct.

Speaking of the 512, GMP had announced a 512S Coda Lunga before their demise. Has there been any word about whether GMP will start up again, or if not, what became of their kit tooling?

GMP is most certainly back in business now, but they will definitely NOT be producing ANY Ferrari models. No idea what happened to the tooling. It may have been sold or lost/stolen as many tools were for various companies. Long story.

It's a cold and rainy day. I'm sure I'm not the only up for a good story. Of course, I wouldn't be the one doing all the typing, so easy for me to ask.

    Lololo, resin indeed!!
I too wonder about the 512 gmp tooling...they had already shown the prototype, do the model was ready to be produced...it should have been great so it should be worth a lot of money.....someone must have it, and someone should use it!!!
