Why don't you do that Chris? And here's a great idea - why don't you and "Artie the one man party" join us some sunny Sunday? Just because your uber 308 is in transition, you can still join us.

 

Oh com'on Rich, if i start the new thread then i will be obligated to come down to Beverly on a early Sunday morning.

 

Any interest in having a Sunday morning meet sometime this spring or summer somewhere in between Beverly and Southborough (There is a Southborough group that meets at Starbucks around 10 am)? Maybe once every month or two so we can put faces behind screen names, followed by a drive or lunch somewhere?

The Southborough group usually turns up 5-10 cars and sometimes has 10 or more when weather gets nice - not all f cars, some porsches, classic benz, and even vipers - had 5 last week in the cold around 10 am. From Google maps, the midpoint appears to be somewhere near lexington on 128 - downtown lexington has a great chinese restaraunt called Yankczee (sp?) river. Just a thought.

 

That's sounds good to me. Probably would not stay for lunch - Sunday morning belongs to me, but Sunday after noon time, 1:00pm I often have my time arranged for me

 

I shot up to Beverly last sunday on the bike, but nobody there 9:30. A bit of a hike from my area. The motorcycle seems to cover a lot of ground pretty quick...

 

Sorry we were not there. If some one is going to be there you'll usually find some chatter on this thread beforehand. Don't give up, just check for chatter before you head out

 

I was there around 9:45AM. Went for a nice drive through Hamilton-Wenham after. Maybe this Sunday if the weather holds!

 

Decent day forecast for Sunday - anyone interested in driving to the Tufts Auto show on Sunday?- Runs 11am-2pm roughly - will post details if any interest - $5 or $10 entrance fee - about a 25 mile ride from Beverly to Medford.

Over slept again today. I helped two people move yesterday and ended up not going to bed till 4ish in the am. I probably will be going to tufts today.

too early for me, maybe we should change the time to noon, instead of 9

 

We originally started out meeting at 9 or so, hanging out for anyone who showed, then went on a drive and had lunch. The closer we got to the noon hour the fewer people we had. Seems that Sunday morrning works for most folks if they are in town. Spring , fall, and good winter days seemed to draw the most. You could certainly try asking on the thread who's available for a noon time get together - no harm in that
