PS. It appears to be a kink in the chassis. We are aware of it. No problem.

    Thanks for watching!

Thank you Volkmar... I was confused with the photos. One on the trailer, the other in the container... Same car, ok.

Francis and everyone else, thank you for the interest the comments and the encouragement.
There will be more coming off the car as the sills are covering further mysteries. As of now, we are doing other small back-burner repairs on other cars, that only will take one day or two, then back to 'L' # 01104.

    Regards, Alberto

We realized that this is the 2nd nose on this car, and in very bad condition, so it will have to come off and new sections remade and replaced.
There is the kink in the chassis, which will pose a challenge. Soon will go back to 01104 and will put this on mothballs for awhile.

I love it....the smell of Bondo in the air, the cancerous steel, the holes and the metal that will fly away and be replaced by a few yards of virgin steel, and now that I think about it, in reality, it is most everything below the fenders.
At least most of the chassis is OK :)

I hope you do enjoy this, as it is grimy ugly stuff, unlike the pretty cars you have up there, right Jon?
This, is Dino reality show, no California actors and only damaged goods...

Seeing how much of the car needs attention, will have to send for a truckload of sand, 6 tons ($100), down at the river, pass it through a sieve and start blasting away. Half of it will be unusable, but that's how it works here.
It will look better. You'll be the first to know.
