I used a 70 dollar ac pro with the gauge. worked great ac blowing colder than ever
I just needed to add refrigerant.
I used an ac pro from autozone . was like 68 bucks took about 5 minutes . Coldest my ac has been in years

You will find something. Don't be scared of miles IMO or DIY. These cars are relatively easy to work on. Mine has 103k miles now!
