The only period image of the 1451 GT engine I have. Hard to say this is inside plug motor or outside plug one.
Tipo 128F was a non standard engine for production California's, so how 1451 GT could entered in Le Mans in the GT category?

Marcel, previously I thought that 7975 SF was originally delivered to Shah of Iran. So, Reza Pahlevi owned just one 500 Superfast, s/n 6605 SF?
As I remember 6305 SF originally delivered to Guido Monzino from Italy.
Compare the original (b/w photo taken at Le Mans) and the restored car. Pay attention to the differences on the inside of the door.
