    Sure -
    Put some text on the post. Press the "enter" button to give picture area some breathing room

    Where it says "Upload Image or File (size limitation: 640 x 640 and 200k)" - I right click, and select "Open in new page" (or) "Open in new window"

    New page/window: Press;
    Choose (choose your filthy pornographic images - no, not that one - yeah, that one...)
    Add this file - now, wait until you see your image's file name below and left of the "All Done" button
    All Done - page/window will close.

    You're right back at the post you started with text... looks the same...

    Just hit Submit Reply - Voila!

    Hey, Wax, just so you know, it opens in a separate window all by itself...

    Technically, it's a Pop-up window. I use Opera Browser (world's fastest, most configurable, user-friendly, saves all my pages for next time I go surfin') and have it configured to Refuse Pop-ups. In my case, Right-click>Open in new page is a quicker step than clicking:
    File>Quick Preferences>Accept Pop-ups
    - doing the Image, then clicking -
    File>Quick Preferences>Refuse Pop-ups

    I don't use IE - as it slows everything to a crawl, for one of many reasons.

    But, yeah - you're right - as long as you're accepting Pop-ups - your route is the easiest way of all.
