Have a few things in San Francisco this summer and wondering if anyone has any recommendations for hotels with private secured garages?

Bonus points if I don't have to give the car to a vallet and it has in and out.

Are you talking about downtown SF proper?

And doesn't have to be downtown, any neighborhoods around downtown also work.

I've had my 328 at the Intercontinental SF (not the Mark Hopkins). It's tightly controlled but valet only (unless something has changed).

Drive a beater car to SF. We have an old VW Golf just for these sorts of things. And we leave nothing inside. Worry-free.

My suggestion is that you stay in either Palo Alto or Menlo Park and then takeUbers to and from the City and within the City also.
Four Seasons has a hotel in Palo Alto with safe parking and valets who know how to drive Ferrari’s. It is just off 101. Rosewood in Menlo Park has this also and they often park exotics in the courtyard near the front doors to display them. Lesser Ferrari’s might not make the cut for display. It is just off 280 which is a more pleasant drive than 101.
Don’t worry about the valets as they see lots of exotics. Don’t know if you can do your own valet work but you can always ask
I think in and outs are ok.

Four Season SF on market handles all of my Ferraris over dozens of times without issue. They even have a special spot for them underground.

Yes, this is an option, but not what I was asking about. I lived in SF for 15 years, and when I come back, I prefer to stay in the city itself and not the peninsula.

Will look into the suggestions folks have added, thanks for the recommendations!

If you are a member of a reciprocal club, the Olympic Club has secure indoor parking. I had my 612 there last year, and the valets were happy to let me take it in and out, although one of them rode with me (not a bad idea, as the building is pretty tight).

    Very good suggestion.

It's pretty bad. I've got 5 or 6 recent stories of incredibly brazen attacks on cars doing a lot of damage for change in the cupholder. You can witness attack, call cops, and they'll direct you to a website to make a report.

A safer part of the city is the Presidio. Of course, the pendulum swings pretty far - military police are very strict and active! Do not jaywalk, read all signs etc.

The Rosewood in west Menlo Park is beautiful and pretty chilled. It's 30 miles from SF, but your car will basically go unnoticed from all of the other Ferrari's, Bentley's and Mercedes.
