Anyone have a 360 with 40k miles on it or more? Any serious engine issues or totally fine if normally maintained? Thanks.
55K on my 2004 360 spider. Did a lot of maintenance when I bought it 9 yrs ago. Belts, motor mounts, etc. The car runs great!!!
Do you read your own threads ? https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/i-want-to-see-your-high-mileage-360-430.677732/#post-149148321 Here's another too https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/360-high-mileage-owners-more-than-60k-miles.350898/
The engines are robust on the 360, just make sure you keep to routine maintenance, replacement oil is a lot cheaper than engines!
Just about to turn 30K and while not in the 40's yet, no issues. But with that said I keep a close eye on all maintenance.
Mine is about to turn 65k miles. I bought it a year and a half ago with 54k miles. I have obviously driven it a ton in the time i have had it. The only thing that i had to replace was the F1 system accumulator. It was a super easy job to do. Everything else was just normal annual maintenance. I do need to do timing belts this year, which i will do myself. These cars are super easy to work on.
I have 56k on my '99 360. Regular service/maintenance and (seems to) run better than when it was new.
44 Thousand on My 2000,I Did Belts,Tensioners replaced F1 pump 3 years ago. Replaced both Fuel PumpsThis winter Driver side started to leak,Did Brake flush, with new Pads, New Spark Plugs Just last week had to replace the Battery other than that A reliable car.
Coming up to 75k on mine and it's raced in the Ferrari CSA hill climb series. Regularly serviced. Image Unavailable, Please Login
its just crazy to me that people think that something over 40k miles is HIGH MILEAGE. almost all of these cars are 25 years old now. I feel really sorry for those folks that just let these cars sit in a garage without being driven. Its a proven fact that the maintenance cost per mile goes down with the more miles driven..... All cars are made to be driven. I see way too often, the lower mileage cars are not in as good a shape as the higher mileage, much loved and cared for higher mileage cars.
By keeping up on annual service and replacing wear items, these cars should a lifetime for most of our driving habits. 30-40k+ miles being considered high is just stupid...but a great bargaining chip if you're a buyer
honestly, i love having a higher mileage 360 because the car should be fully depreciated since there is a pretty big spead between a low mileage car(probably under 25k miles) compared to something over 40k. I dont have to feel a bit bad about driving it as often as i want.
