Ivan: I remember your house and appreciate the information you post here. I spent summers in TF until I was about ten. My Grandmother lived there so we visited in the summers. The house is still there. the town has changed little except Stucky's burned down. My uncle Jim was the telegraph operator in the train station until it close in the 60's. And yes, there are great roads for driving.
Hi here are a few shots I took a few weeks back before the pollen was ridiculous! This is a European version 1985 Quattroporte III. I love these cars, this one is my 4th QP I've owned. They are SO dang cool. My Dad daily drove a black over tan 1986 QPIII when I was a teenager. Hi Gene, yeah Robyn and I missed it too as she had a law firm business conference at that same time at The Breakers in west Palm Beach so I tagged along for 6 days visiting some friends in Jupiter we hadn't seen in quite some time. That part went well at least. I heard that Don and Sandy took 1st place in the rally this time. Sorry we weren't there to move up from 2nd place from last year to 1st ... Last year we had hoped to have some time to reconnect with Don & Marci Comacho but his emergency appendicitis put the kabash on that and my back injury earlier in the trip made things a bit difficult us as well. We were pleasantly surprised to have a bit of an informal dinner with yourself, Vicki, Bobby and George Andreni on the first evening. I hope every one had a good time this year. In something of a repeat of a vacation tainted by illness we rented a Maserati Levante in an effort to get some seat time to see if we liked the car. I almost immediately came down with some kind of a cold and that area is also NOT conducive to experimenting with a new car on more open roads like the Pismo rally was last year. We did have fantastic weather of course but I never got in any water, ocean or otherwise.
Vignale Spyder #1107 yesterday at Cars and Coffee on Woodward Avenue. It was in the 40’s so I had the top up - took some kidding from the guys about that. But it’s great to have driving weather in Michigan. Dave Image Unavailable, Please Login
