Does anybody know if they'll be a parking area for Ferrari's that are not part of the display? Or is it just general parking for all attendees?

The way the shows seem to go at Blackhawk is that they take about 15 cars to showcase on the upper terrace (these cars may have been prearranged). The small lower "prestige" lot holds about 75 cars. After that, cars are parked in the main right-side lot which is endless.

I registered via the FCA website and, to my surprise, they did not ask what car I was bringing. From this, I suspect if you drive up in a Ferrari and there is still room in the small lot, you will be directed to park there. If it's full and you are sent over to the big lot, it's no biggie.

If you show up in a 250 GTO, they'll probably magically find room for you in the upper terrace.

There is also parking on the sides of the access road which are quite good spots too.

Thanks. I just joined FCA last week so I was able to get some more info about it through Ginger. I’ll leave my 250GTO at home as I wouldn’t want to kick anybody off the upper level :D

Looking forward to meeting some locals!

It was great to see you. It's cool that they put both our cars up on the rotunda.

The Monza SP1 (... down in the lower lot) (ha!) was something else!

Good thing we left the 250 GTO's at home then otherwise we would have been in the lower lot with the peasants :D

There doesn't appear to be anything vintage at these events?

There was one Dino. Would have loved to see more pre-308 cars there though.

I think it is highly unlikely that the Blackhawk Museum C&C will ever return. It certainly is a prestige venue. The C&C collapsed under its own weight (aided by a BMW M4 curb jumping demonstration). At the end, a mind-bending 1,600 cars would show up.

It seems their new system is hosting car clubs events. These last few weekends have also seen the BMW Car Club and the Corvette Car Club. Actually, I think this is better than the free-for-all C&C they used to host. (Seeing endless rows of circa 2012 Ford Mustangs was a bit much for me.)

Yeah, it was kinda weird how few Ferraris showed up. Not sure why people were not interested (the pastries were GREAT!). Maybe it just that there are so many local C&Cs everywhere in the Bay Area now. There were more antique Ferraris at the Ford Greenfield Lab C&C last month!

Agree. I was actually at that C&C when the BMW went over, thankfully he didn't hit anything/anyone else.
