Blue SF90 in Long Grove/Mundelein around intersection of 45/60.
Lack of headrests would lead me to believe it is either a 1967 or 1968. Also looks like it has the electric vent windows. Beautiful car.
Nice silver 599 in Lake Bluff this afternoon Likely to have been coming from LFSC Image Unavailable, Please Login
I see John's old 166 MM is going up to auction at Monterey this year. Seen in better times at Continental Autosport Ferrari. Good luck with the sale. 1953 Ferrari 166 MM Spider Series II by Vignale | Monterey 2021 | RM Sotheby's (rmsothebys.com) Image Unavailable, Please Login

I believe Jim Glickenhaus has a saying about that. “Not putting miles on your Ferrari is like not having sex with your girlfriend so she'll be more desirable to her next boyfriend“
I thought that was more of a Benny Caiola statement I have seen the Sergio a couple of times at Lake Forest, stunning car The J50 seemed to have shared design language and then some of that came to the SF90
The Sergio has never been driven. They could not get plates for it as it was never “crash” tested for US standards. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Interesting. They must have trailered it to the dealer, then. I assume they trailer it to car shows as well. I wonder if they've ever taken it to the track.
That's interesting. That could be because Ferrari had 6 458's rebodied and sold them sort of new. I know cars like the P4/5 have plates and were never crash tested either because the donor chassis was crash tested. Maybe they used a European 458 as the base??
That's weird. There is a blue one that is driven in Florida. Kinda sucks for the owner then. But he has plenty of other toys.
I am in the be careful for what you ask for box. Pre-covid I thought they were crazy for being a just walk in place with the negative folks from Waukegan a 10 minute ride away. Now I would have to get off my lazy blank to call or email for an appointment to view the 4 wheeled joy they have on site on the way home from work (OK I can drive in and see the stuff parked outside, which in the good weather is always a good show).
Saw a really lovely F8, yellow with a black top being driven to be gassed up by a tech from LFSC Here is a link to the inventory page https://www.ferrarilakeforest.com/inventory/certified-used-2020-ferrari-f8-tributo-rwd-2dr-car-zff92lla1l0253308 Also saw a red 360 heading back toward the dealership
Agreed, to that point saw a Roma on 41 heading South today. Car does not appear to be in their inventory. Kind of a darkish gray. I hadn't seen a Roma in person before, I like it quite a bit. The driver was more surprised to see my Gen 2 NSX than I was to the Roma.
I believe this will be the current/future business model for the exotics. Bentley Gold Coast is also by appointment only.
Perillo's store was hit pretty hard during the riots, as were many of the luxury shops Unfortunate that some folks do that kind of stuff
Sounds like their demo, I saw it in the showroom when I had my car in for service a week or two ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I can see that in Chicago more as people have lost trust in the cities will and ability to enforce the law. I think that will change, but maybe not until they get a new mayor and the cost of living in Chicago continues to rise.
