#1875 at the 1965 Nurburgring 1000km. Edit: wait, I'm wrong about the LM. 5909 was only 3 days old at that point. I still think I got the SWB right though
Found this one on FB, Thompson CT 1960. Don’t recognize the car/driver Image Unavailable, Please Login
This spectacular photo was taken at Daytona 1964. I am seeking the name of the original photographer and also in which collection or archive this photo can be found today. Does anybody know more? Thanks for all help. Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login
I've been informed that this pic was taken by Dave Friedman and that photo collection appears to be in the Henry Ford Archive. Thank you to the fchatters who helped me in this case. Much appreciated. Marcel Massini
The photo with #3445GT and #4713GT can be found here : https://www.flickr.com/photos/thehenryford/albums/72157633106192796/page1
Just a bit of additional info... not that it will matter much at this point. That photo might not actually have been taken by Friedman. He acquired a few archives of photos taken by other photographers, and not always with the rights, and he has also had a habit of taking credit for other photographers work!
Marcel, You may also want to contact the National Automotive History Collection at the DPL. I don't know about today, but years ago (20 +) you could go in and have photos made for a very small fee from a huge collection of photos. There were thousands upon thousands of photos. It was amazing. I don't know how it is today, but it may be worth a try. https://detroitpubliclibrary.org/research/national-automotive-history-collection
Most fascinating scene at the Aerautodromo di Modena. Chiti in the center, but what is going on with the film crew? What cars are on the picture? Thanks for any input. Image Unavailable, Please Login
These are scans from a 1970 Dutch cartoon magazine. Has anyone ever seen a 330 GTC with gold wheels like this? I think it's quite rare. Was it a factory option? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
