It’s official, after years of searching and testing the water I finally took the plunge. Just received my first Ferrari. It’s a 2007 f430 in TD blue with 14k. Had a PPI at FAI in CA and another look from classic coach when it got to NJ. All good and yes I am in love. I did have to change out the amp but all is well and sound system is now fantastic. Any tips, insights or anecdotes are greatly appreciated. So excited to know more… Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Take some time & read here & look at videos to learn your way around the car & its quirks in particular the best way to drive F1

    But mainly: enjoy

Keep it on a battery tender, use Shell V power fuel, get a code reader, eg. Think car, or Autel 200, keep A/c charged up, Check out all of Scuding Swiss aftermarket tail lights, relays replacements, etc, learn to detail your own car, buy all your detailing products etc., get the front clear wrapped for stone protection, get a good relationship with a competent independent mechanic or dealer, Get a good tire gauge, compressor etc, and use the cover when sitting a long time. Learn the F1 and how to drive it effectively. Enjoy it and drive it weekly.

depends on where you live. Here in the North East USA, its generally too hot in the summer for a convertible and too cold in the winter. You really only get about 4 good months a year where it isn't raining all the time (April sucks) to drive with the top down.

I hear you. I am in South Bend Indiana, 90 miles east of Chicago, so my driving season is mid-March to mid-December. Consistent top down weather is May to October.

Because of the bright blue color, any Little Rock or scratch really stands out. It has a clear front wrap. I was thinking of removing, getting a ceramic coat and then reapply a more thorough front clear wrap. Does that make sense?

I wish I had that long of a convertible season. You haven't lived till you get stuck in NY highway traffic on a 100'F sunny day with 90% humidity in late July.

Stock amp has a lot of distortion. Did you swap in the scuderia audio amp?
