    Seems to be a Y shape with openings up and down stream and the same honeycomb inserts capping both openings. So gas can flow through.

    I would guess it's a mini converter to trick the O2 sensor levels.

    I asked IPE about this, and they confirmed it’s a mini cat. I’m assuming their cat delete pipes also have this. Pretty cool solution.

    IPE does make the best sounding exhaust for the 458. I have had catless F1 IPE on my 458 for 17K miles now and absolutley love it!

    Any issues with exhaust smell or droning with the cat delete? Also, any CEL or does the built in mini cat solve that?
