This is pretty much every game at T-mobile from my experience. Las Vegans go nuts watching this team play. Finally though yesterday we had our first sell out since Covid shut us down. Just in time!

VEGAS — The Bud Moonshine world tour of the Round Two series with the Vegas Golden Knights and Colorado Avalanche series continued Friday. And let me tell you what an amazing experience it is to cover or attend a game at T-Mobile Arena in Vegas. Friday night was the first 100%-capacity game in Vegas in over 450 days, and my god, those fans rattled the place.

Vegas was so loud that my coffee had ripples. Fans literally scream. They jump around. They have a hype man. I’ll post the video below.

17,504 fans absolutely rocked T-Mobile Arena. Relentlessly. Joyfully. It was the first full game since COVID. And they brought their A-Game.

Vegas scored two goals in 45 seconds later in the third period and won 3-2. T-Mobile went bananas. Credit those fans, they could have soured, but they were relentless. Vegas wins, and they d-o-m-i-n-a-t-e-d

I don’t know if you’re still affected by the first steps after COVID, but I am. I get excited as we cross barriers and thresholds, and I look forward to our country getting to that 70% barrier. With 100% fan capacity in Vegas and the raw power of 17,504 fans who are as engaged as any fanbase has ever been, it felt good to be there. The VGK fans are a little funny as they cheer EVERY shot in that “almost” sort of way. They go bananas for everything. And it’s fun.

Marc-Andre Fleury didn’t leave the ice after warm-ups. He stayed on the ice for another minute, just looking around. When the place realized he was hanging, they again went nuts. That was a moment born of 452 days without a full barn. And a player who appreciates his station in life and place in the game. Fleury took it in.

I think Rod Brindamour is on to something when he said the referees are favoring Tampa. If anyone is watching this game, and saw how the referees penalized Carolina but not Tampa's Sergatchev for the cross check (all in the same play), how can they disagree

Amen to that. Still, was a mistake to start Mrazek. 6 goals, probably 4 should been stopped. these two teams are fast, quick, and are both great passing teams.

I call it the way I see it, I don't play favorites, and the Canes got hosed on that play.

Yes I agree. Just as I predicted this is the most exciting series to watch, display of great hockey.

Tough night for the Bruins. Very lopsided officiating in favor of the Islanders. Early in the 1st they were letting everything go. Multiple crosschecks from each team, and it looked like they were just going to let them play. After that, it wasn't so much that the calls against the Bruins were bad, but that the Islanders weren't getting called for the same penalties. But, with that said, the Bruins should have been able to kill off a couple penalties and not have allowed NY to score on the first three power plays.

I expect it’ll be Lightning vs Canadians in the cup. Price and Vasilevskiy are pretty much lights out as of late and both teams seem to have found another gear.

Great playoffs for hockey fans however you look at it. Glad fans can be in attendance too...

Wow man... the press in Denver is pretty brutal considering they aren't eliminated yet. MacKinnon is how the AVS got to this point in the season.

Golden Knights now Stanley Cup favorites at Westgate
    https://www.reviewjournal.com/sports/betting/golden-knights-now-stanley-cup-favorites-at-westgate-2374371/

The Golden Knights, a victory away from advancing to the NHL semifinals, have been installed by the Westgate as the favorites to win the Stanley Cup.

After rallying for a 3-2 overtime win at Colorado on Tuesday to take a 3-2 lead in their second-round series, the Knights were made the +175 Stanley Cup favorites at the sportsbook over the Tampa Bay Lightning, the 2-1 second choice.

The Lightning are slight Stanley Cup favorites over the Knights at Circa, William Hill and BetMGM.

“We have the Knights -360 on the series price (over the Avalanche), and whoever wins the series is going to be favored over any team remaining,” Westgate vice president of risk Jeff Sherman said. “When you add up the recent liability we’ve had on the Knights, we just feel they should be the favorite at this point.”

That's what needs to be said in Toronto about Austin Matthews...so replace the word Avs with Leafs and the name McKinnon with Matthews

I'm not sure about Montreal. Vegas and Colorado are not the Leafs or the Jets.

Yup. They just couldn't keep up with the Islanders. Missing Carlo and Miller on D was a killer. Plus, Rask always seems to have his worst games when they need him most. If I have one off-season wish, it is that Rask will be the starting goalie for the Kraken next year. They need to move on from him. The Bruins should have played Swayman the last two games. Rask wasn't healthy and Swayman showed he could play through this season.

Absolutely. You can't put all the blame on Rask. The Bruins defense was beat up and thin, and it showed. But, every once in a while you need your goalie to save you from those mistakes, and steal you a game, but Rask never does that.

Vegas went 7 games while really struggling with Minnesota. We had a really tough time scoring. Pachioretti was out for the last three weeks. He gets back for game 7 and we win.

Just one key player out can effect the entire squad.
