    Hi all,

I am starting a new post with the work i do on my Maserati 3500 GTI.
    The photo will come soon.
A complete overhaule of all gauge.
    Restore the firewall.
Changing the old italian electric wire by new one.
And finally, solving a oil leak on the engine.

    But, before, just a question.
Would you use a oil 20W50 (Mineral with Zinc....) instead of the SAE50 ?

    Ludovic

    20W50 is a good choice.

I will also follow with interest (did you sell the Indy that you restored?).
A good mineral 20W50 with ZDDP: Millers oil classic, easily available in France

Well, as you can see, the cylinder head is in the maschine shop (I found some oil in the intake, maybe coming from the use of synthetic oil...)
I did not take picture of the dismantle as it is quite easy to do. But i will explain step by step the mount of the cylinder head, with timing etc...

I put a new material over the firewall, it's Cool It material, made with fiberglass as original. The work is in progress.
As you can see, all the gauge are with a specialist to be completely renewed.

    Best
