The more I drive my F1 575, the more I enjoy... and the longer I suspect the conversion parts in the garage will be collecting dust... :)

You are a very fortunate man in that you get to experience both varieties! ; -) Its fantastic that you have the stuff and then at least can just "hold" as long as you want and then always sell or include the parts later if you ever sell. Its a delicious place to be!

Really good work on the AC panel. Thought about bidding on your 575 at the auction---my favorite color combo and the wheels look great.
My black/black 599 is at EAG for a conversion also. Hidden value--Art and Dave discovered that the one year old new clutch installed by Ferrari of Beverly Hills was, let's say, not installed correctly, necessitating replacement.

@Auraraptor I hope so! Interior refresh should be starting soon. I’ll report back once we have tested the panel.

@bamaman Yikes on the Ferrari of Beverly Hills clutch installation! Are they going to make it right?

I am two purchasers removed so I won't be calling the dealer just to get slapped down. Lesson learned.

And again I ask….given how these photos make me feel….how can I flag myself as “inappropriate”!

If you mean for Dan's conversion @dhalperin13 then I'll also be curious. My 550, as of yesterday has been with the mechanic in San Jose for 14 WEEKS....for what I would consider pretty normal stuff........the wait for certain guys due to their robust client backlog is frustrating for sure.

I was conversing with Art from EAG today. He’s quite happy for me to share that a few weeks ago his whole crew walked out on him. Seemingly they all demanded equity in the company or they would walk- which they proceeded to do after Art declined (quite rightly). Probably for the best for EAG in the long run.

Anyway, Art and his brother are going to go it alone for the foreseeable future. I would expect then schedules for conversions will need to slip.

@brogenville Robin are they making a kit to ship to you in the UK or have they done so already?

it’s never easy and that really stinks for Art.

Neither, I just spoke to art a while ago and we exchange emails occasionally. I converted my 612 myself a while ago and still help other people with manual conversions, so I generally take an interest in the topic.

Robin- Dug up a document the other day that may give some hints on 7.1.1 and 7.3.2 compatibility. Seems like early 7.1.1 clock rate was 32 MHz, while early 7.1.1/7.3.2 clock rate was 40 MHz and later 7.3.2 rate was 50 MHz. Would explain why some ECUs are incompatible with earlier versions.
