They seem to be on the rise but everything is now. On Autotrader I belive there are only three red F430 coupes for sale. Been debating selling mine. Eventually this used car bubble will pop but when I'm not sure. Sent from my Surface Duo using Tapatalk
It’s a trip. I am unsure if it ever will for the 430 however. The demand seems to be steady. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I've been keeping an eye on this for the past 6+ months, and have noticed prices have been on the rise. I believe this trend will continue as the cars become more rare (a few get totalled each year). Red/tan is still the most desirable color combination too, even though it may seem clichee to us (to the prospective first-time Ferrari buyer, it's almost a must-have).
Thanks for the replies. I have a low mile red/tan 2007 sorted and maintained by Norwoods. Trying to decide what to do with it.
You had me intrigued, so I went to check it out. There are 6 red coupes on there right now (not counting Scuderias of course), and only two of them are the classic red/tan combination. Here they are, in order of price. Year Miles Price Colors 2005 25k $114,000 red/cuoio 2007 24k $114,900 red/tan 2005 36k $114,900 red/black 2006 31k $129,500 red/black 2008 23k $132,900 red/red 2007 10k "contact" red/tan In my opinion, the 2nd one on the list (2007 w/ 24k miles) looks like a nice car, and what I'd check out first if I was shopping.
these are prices of a 458 about a yr ago. with those at 200k now i think i would go with a new vette over used ferrari
Oooooh! This’ll be good. I’m going to get some popcorn, fresh coffee and settle in for this one. Kudos for making your point! Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app
c8 was benchmarked v 458 and they are pretty similar cars despite 458 looking and sounding much better imo. having a dct is a huge advantage for c8 v 430 f1 esp at near half price. 430 stick is obviously altogether different story
The problem with getting a new Corvette.....is getting one. They just closed all new allocations for the rest of the model year.
You're right and that stinks. I am getting ready to shop for a gated 360 and now is not the right time to buy but i want one.....
They will go up, way up. Factors: -In 10 years when you can only buy electric it will cause huge supply issues in ICE exotics. I think majority of owners will keep or possibly move sideways (ie try a different exotic from same era) but won't be trading in for electric. I think electric sales would be driven primarily by new generation -When those that had the F430 as their dream car are older and have disposable income -F430 is modern enough to be considered mostly reliable if taken care of, easy entry into Ferrari -Inflation We're seeing notable rises in market prices just due to covid buying and slow down of new car sales. Imagine when market factors above kick in...
Makes no difference to me... never selling my spider . No way no how Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
When I bought my f430 a year ago there were about 50 for sale (Netherlands) now around 10. Prices went up with about 10k. But everything seems to go up.
Some daft prices about at the moment and can’t help but feel that some are just bluffing chancers. There’s one in ebay just now, 2008, 26k miles for £109k. It”s a nice spec with rossa, crema, bordeaux and CCBs but £109k? I think not.
I'm with both these guys. With inflation+market & economy volatility, everything in general including any other limited variants have gone up. And if everything is up, is anything really up? More like buying power shrunk unilaterally across the board if anything imho. Pistas went from $420s to $500s+ Speciale went from $340s to $400s+ Scuds went from $190s to $240s+
Having a Scud I love to hear that prices went from 190 to 240.. but is that really true ..I haven't seen much in movement in market .. but than again haven't been focused on that Sent from my moto g power using Tapatalk
As a group we are revoking your man card and need you to turn it in. In its place we will mail you a mason jar where you can present your balls to your wife where she may put on display on top of the fridge.
