Thank you! Seems like I may have to just go with CGT. Heard their 5 year engine out service is 40k or so. Even 2 years ago, my income was only in high 6 figure level so no way I could have afforded these cars. It is what it is

TDF would be my first choice since we are a Ferrari forum.
CGT isn't a bad idea. Itll only go up in value.
Daytona is a great steal right now and is probably (in my opinion) the most fun to drive of the 3)

I think CGT will stagnate a little after this huge 50 percent jump it experienced. And then maybe another jump in 5 years or so.

Go for your dream car. If you are at or just below making low 7 figures why spend close to a million on a car and not get the one you really want. These cars are not logical buys so passion is important IMO. Anything less and you will just be looking to not lose money and not enjoy it.

Think about cost of ownership and work your way up. Some of the major services (IE Carrera GT) can run north of $20k, maybe even $30k if the clutch needs replacing.
Take your time and get something that is trending upwards in value, like the CGT about 5 yrs ago or the gen1 NSX 10 yrs ago. You'll make money while getting a taste of the lifestyle to see if you want to continue.

Your automotive experiences listed are truly admirable! I love having my Ferrari but have zero experience with other brands. Your breadth of knowledge and hands on experience driving super cars from more than one brand and multiple generations is very cool to read about!

Not that I’m throwing my vote behind one, but I find it interesting nobody mentioned a 599 GTO.

I'd have to try a used 2018-2019 Ford GT Heritage Edition.
Porsche Carrera GT would be another good choice.

Any thoughts about Senna? I think its def more exotic than NFGT. To me, it looks cool and not so ugly.

CGT is nice but i really dont want to pay 1.3M figure for a car that was 800k last year lol. Just a sour grape i guess.

Okay, this is easy. Plenty of my options here.

    - BMW M4 or M6 (manual) [Just because I understand how to wrench on BMWs]
    - Mercedes AMG GTR
    - Porsche 911 GT2 RS (Manual) [repainted in only one color]
    - Porsche (993) 911 [Any with RWD, manual Tr)
    - Aston Martin Vantage (Manual)
    - Lamborghini Huracan Evo (Do these come in Manual?)
    - Ferrari 458 Italia or Speciale
    - Ferrari 488 Pista [with a tuned 458 italia engine if possible]
    - Ferrari 430 Scud? Is it sub million?
    - I'd do a used Ferrari Roma if I can find it at a good price and nice color.
    - Are Pagani Zondas 3 pedal manual and Sub million?

Better than paying 1.3M for a car today which will be worth 800k next year :p I still think nice CGT have some way to go, and affordable well-driven examples very much fit the budget

I would go old school and get a mint 365GTB4 Daytona. But I have a soft spot for them.

If it has to be one car then 458 SA or F12 TDF or 599 GTO. If multiple, I'd do Stradale + Speciale + F12.

As you guys could have guessed. I am looking to go up the ladder in my fun car. Currently driving 997.2 RS which is pretty fun but I began to wonder what higher end cars can provide in terms of joy.

I am looking into CGT on the higher end and LFA on the lower end with everything in between (Senna, NFGT, 599GTO and etc). But car prices are so crazy right now and I am wondering if i should pull the trigger now and go for it for wait a year or two enjoy my 911 then go for the next car.
    What do you guys think?

Also, how are these cars? Are experiences vastly better than 200k cars?

right now I would say a 330GTC.... cause I just think I would like it .... If I did not already have it I would say the 599GTO plus 430 Scud to me these are two cars from an era that are perfect for me....I like my DINO and think the 330 GTC would be perfect as a nice car to drive .....from a similar era...
I also think about a TDF but think I would prefer the older car...

I personally think CGTs are still cheap even with their current rise. They may fluctuate a bit but will continue upward long term. Very different experience than a 997.2 RS. Both are fun, CGT is on another level completely. They could be a nice pairing as well.
