Picking up Thursday- 2019 Lusso T with 450 miles

    Hello from a long time RLer with more than 20 vintage and modern Porsches buying my first, in many years Ferrari’s. I have long admired the FF/Lusso as the perfect DD as I’m sure most of you that own them do as well. Long story short I was at our winter home in the California desert last month and the facility where I keep most of my California collection had an older FF, which the owner graciously let me crawl all over! Well it took no time to convince me that this would be a perfect Franklin TN spring/fall DD to replace our 19 G63 that we were sending to our home in California for seasonal duty. I did my research and decided the T was perfect for my needs and found the spec I was looking for at Ferrari of Las Vegas. So with my insomnia fully in play ( 145am here) I find myself surfing your forum. I’ve also decided that I’m going to drive her back to TN, actually Indy this weekend (as my company is a sponsor of RLL #15) for the 500 festivities. My wife is going to think I’m nuts but I’ve booked my flight, in Chicago right now, flying to LV Wednesday evening and will be at Ferrari LV Thursday am for collection. Roughly a 1800 mile drive from Thursday to Saturday planning on 8 hrs day 1, 12 hrs day 2 and 8 hrs Saturday getting into Indy in time for dinner. A few pics and then hopefully back to sleep!

    Congratulations! I did the opposite route and drove from ATL to LV last summer. Was a wonderful trip for me and one of my sons who rode along.

    The leg from LV to Denver is one of the best drives in America.

    If you don’t mind, how much under asking price were you able to get? They’ve had several 2018-19 GTCs with minimal miles that have been sitting there for a while.

    Heads up the "24 hr roadside service" from Ferrari extended warranty is pretty useless on weekends. I hit a wood screw in the middle of nowhere in Kansas on Saturday morning and it was my own car insurance (Travelers) that got someone over in about 2.5 hrs to patch the tire.

    Update, well the T is amazing and the spec in person really pops in every way. I was sooo tempted to drive her to Indy from LV for the 500 race this weekend (heading there tomorrow as we are a sponsor of #15 RLL Graham Rahal’s car) but my schedule is just nuts that very reluctantly I left her there in the showroom and my transporter will pick her up Wednesday. Tough decision but ultimately patience will be rewarded when I get back from a heavy travel schedule arriving back to TN Saturday to finally get behind the wheel. I took a few videos but unfortunately they are too large for this platform.
