I'm sure it will soon be water under the bridge at Mercedes.

Hamilton isn't the first driver to slagg off his team.

Respect the driver yes. More respect for the person when he stops acting and looking like a clown.

I’ll give him this: He isn’t the most overrated driver on the grid.

It’s all cool though because he’s Hamilton and not Alonso.

Doesn’t make it a good attitude, makes the praises sound fake and attitude self centered

Most of all, he forgot what it was like to have a bad car.

Alonso wanted some team members to be sacked when the car didn't perform to his liking.

He managed to had his ways a couple of times at Ferrari.

I haven't heard the same said about Hamilton yet, all he does is bitching..

Yes, yes, yes, but some talented people are like that; you have to suffer their tantrums because they bring added value in an organisation.

Hamilton may be a prima dona, but he is top gun at the wheel; other drivers may be easier to deal with, but not so successful.

It's the same with some sportsmen, artists, engineers, scientists, politicians, etc ...

I respect the way he whined and cried about his team today instead of appreciating that they've consistently put him in the fastest car on the fastest strategy for a decade. I hope his team berates him in the trailer for every mistake he makes, the way he does to them on the radio.

So did Lewis getting the fast lap and point

Clever and inciteful as usual :D

[sarcasm] I'm sure Mercedes are really hurt, angry, and demotivated :( about their driver doing a bit of venting on the radio during the race. We never hear that from other drivers [/sarcasm] :D

Huh he started in post quali interview... so as much as I think furoni is Marty Mcfly stuck in back to the future got agree with the consensus here that Lewis’ attitude was poor and Rmbr I started the thread calling for more race talent respect for him.

It's undeniable that Hamilton has bad days too, but they are few and far between compared to his peers.

He has high expectation, himself, and also pushes his team.

It may be irritating perhaps, but it's motivating too.

Like him or not, he has delivered more than most over the years.

That's the way I judge a sportsman, not by his character.

I watched all the post-qualifying interviews - Lewis was dejected but fairly bemused - there was no ranting and raving or singling out.
Lewis knows who butters his bread and vice versa...and they'll be back winning again before long and he'll be crediting his ~"amazing team for working so hard after Monaco" like he always does.

I think he argues because he does not know how to form a sentence that is not slanted against something or someone.

Don't argue with Willy, he argues just to argue, if he didn't do that he would be without a purpose in life....in fact that's why he's not on planet f1 or mercchat, because everyone would agree with him, so he couldn't troll anyone...

They don't need more respect, they get plenty of it. 90 % of the time after races or interviews Lewis thanks the team. The only people who are bent out of shape about this is Fchat. Mercedes knows Lewis is a perfectionist. They have already moved on to the next race.

Respect is something that the man on your avatar had from everyone on the grid, something elton can only dream of, no matter how many fake races he wins...
