I'll have to disagree - the 812SF is the only car out of my 11 others that's missing black wheels and these just came off the boat Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not a fan of blacked out wheels. It's a very 2000s trend that is dated now (of which I admittedly was a fan in-period). Fundamentally, it obstructs the design of the wheel which should complement the overall design of the car, so it's a net detraction. Stepping back, I can't think of an instance where black looked better than the alternatives.
As far as I know, the car is still with a german collector. There was an article about its restoration in German magazine Motor Klassik, issue 02/2014. But there's also an online version of the article with some interesting photos here: https://www.auto-motor-und-sport.de/restaurierung/v12-ferrari-308-gtb-restaurierung-goldsmiths-vermaechtnis/ Hope this helps! The red one with black wheels is possibly tolerable. The blue one - no chance. Only opinions. Your kilometers may vary.
