As far as I know none but one person down here have received their Classiche documentation, considering Classiche is involved I think its even more unlikely more than 599 were made.
Well, maybe there will be 598 soon--esp given his talent with little brother GTB? Brings me to a question? Does anyone know if any GTO's have been "put out of service" yet for good?
Not to question or doubt your credible source in any way, Ferrari has taken quite a run with the limited production Ferrari's. More Enzo's were produced, also more F40's were produced. This brings questions to the "599 and that's it"-statement.
Is the consensus then that they sold the whole 599 (or more) rather than struggling to shift them all?
I am pretty sure that all the original 599 allocations have been spoken for. It is extremely unlikely that any dealer is still holding a 'specable' allocation.
Then I surely missed some posts about these three... Yours is one of them, but which are the two other? Regards, Victor
The reason i dig up an old post is that I am chasing all 599's around the world excepted USA and I reached 493 VIN for Gto's and it Jeeps going up. Considering the number of Gto in the States is around 125, that makes a total of 618 ! So, either I am wrong in my list of chassis, either .... What do you think here ?
I do believe that there have been posts here from other serial collectors (especially @134282 ) who have said that there are more than 599 GTOs, the number dropped without specificity I believe was 700+ (don't quote me on this please its been a while). However, every time that any owner asked the question no actual numbers or lists were ever shared so this matter was never resolved with at least some of the owners firmly believing that there are 599 GTOs. This is the first time that an actual specific number has been posted. Let's see if it prompts a discussion rooted in numbers and not beliefs.
What are you talking about....there are many more than that, in fact Ferrari are still building them!
No wonder Ferrari went up to 799 units with the F12TDF (I am guessing they did the same trick and produced a few more) and now that its public and can't repeat the games is actually making 999 units of 812c.
