    Hi All,

I saw an older thread re: custom armrest solutions for the 575, wondering if anyone has done anything along those lines recently? Found a non-permanent cupholder solution that doesn't look too awful?

Would love any and all ideas, doesn't seem like the original part from Ferrari is still available (to the extent it was marginally useful) but would be consider that as an option to build on, should anyone know of one available?

    Best,

    Joel

I haven’t seen or heard of anyone looking into this for quite sometime. I think the no-permanent/no screw holes bit would be the hard part of putting in a center console with holder. Recently, on an E-Type a guy affixed a cup holder that using one of the seat runner bolts. Possibly an S shaped bracket that becomes a mounting plate could riff off that?

I think hi-performance Velcro could provide a really secure mount without having to resort to screws or similar (which I would also prefer to avoid)

Love the factory option, could see using that as a base and inserting some sort of cushion on top of that, into the recessed compartment

I suspect the factory parts are hard to find and wildly overpriced.

I’d think a custom box would not be too hard to get made. Contact a fabricator (think 12volt shops) and a good upholstery shop and I bet you’d have a great solution at a very reasonable price.

Wow, that's exactly the sort of solution I'm thinking of... Would you be willing to share your guy's contact info with me? Did he start from scratch or you gave him something to "wrap"?
