I hate having to wash the front wheels more often than I have to due to brake dust- thus I prefer darker colored wheels- It’s purely a selfish thing I know but the darker or black wheels look ok depending on the car/color. As for gold- reminds me of my friends Subaru WRX STI- a bling thing. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat

Wheel design matters too. Some wheels look better in silver than black and vice versa. Ex.. 355 OE wheels look perfect in silver and look horrible in black and even worse in GOLD. 355 challenge wheels look better in black than silver imo or they don’t look as good in silver as silver OE wheels. To generalize black wheels look like ass is a rookie mistake. Depends on wheel design, car design, car color, theme, etc. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wheel color is subjective - Each to his own - there is no wright or wrong choice just personal preference
have been looking at this 911 photo for hours. still waiting for those calipers to pop. my tires are black too... krazy!
I have owned several red 911s and would never consider black wheels. Purely individual taste. Black makes the wheels “disappear “ as a styling item. IMO
Went to a detailer friend today to have my car ceramic coated. I have to say that the silver wheels against the Nero paint makes it pop. Black wheels would have been lost. Image Unavailable, Please Login

I don't get the hate on black rims? I am 50 - I have never, ever liked silver, chrome rims on any car I have owned since I was 16 (reminds me of all the gray haired corvette guys I have seen over the past 30 years - no offense ). I think black rims tie in so well with all the black factory parts and also helps you focus on the shape of the car itself........which is what makes a Ferrari, a Ferrari. Hello guys, I’m getting lost in these awesome shots but was specifically looking to contact the current owner of the Goldsmith 365gtb v12 with information regarding the original conversion diagrams. Any ideas who bought that monster? Ps....keep posting- while the rest of us are drooling GKB20
For me there's No Hate for black rims just a lack of preference or you could say not very desirable for some - BTW nice 458
don't think you're going to have any luck with that under a thread titled 'Black Wheels'. Do a Search (upper right) .
