This looks like an interesting 206GT. Love the color! Original? I’d love to learn more about it. https://www.goodingco.com/lot/1967-ferrari-dino-206-gt/
Engine number is correct and matching. Between 1975 and 1984 the car was red, then repainted back to the original Verde Scuro. The current Italian license plate doesn't belong to this car but to an Alfa Romeo. Car has had 8 owners in Italy from new until 2017, then went to The Netherlands. It was for sale during the Techno Classica show in Essen, Germany, March 2018. Marcel Massini
the car is in Germany since 2018... Verde Scuro Ferrari 20-G-186 original colour... was red and repainted a few years ago... very authentic car... but as far as know no full restoration, just repaint.... attached three pictures I took at Techno Classica, Essen in 2018 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Does anyone know if the (FISPA) carb airbox sticker is an original item and carried through the dino series? Tony Image Unavailable, Please Login
original was a yellow print on the air collection box lid.... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I wish there were stencils of the Fispa airbox lettering for the Dinos and Stratos so they could be painted properly. Haven't found any yet.
There are stencils available...I believe I bought my air intake system stencils from Matthias back in the days: Best, Peter Image Unavailable, Please Login
Matthias made the decals/stickers Peter and it appears you got the last set.. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/airbox-lid-indentification.393436/#post-141991066
I made a few sets and if someone really really needs one I may be talked into parting one. They are like original, not stickers
https://www.goodingco.com/lot/1968-ferrari-dino-206-gt-1/ sold may 2021 @ USD 550 +/- 30% profit..not bad
correcting myself ...USD was 1.40 in May 2021 so USD 638K makes it maybe 10% profit only considering work done in the last year or so.
I really wonder about the price reg. the spectacular color. A lot of money, yes, but a bargain for this 206. Not the best deal for the seller, but indeed for the buyer.
