I've moved on. Here's my new dream car. Perfect for the Omeo Highway. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Just don’t drive it through Lakemba or Bankstown...You’d wake up in a ditch with a sore arse and no truck...
Daniel Andrews the idiot https://thedriven.io/2021/05/13/act-minister-hits-out-at-states-planning-extraordinary-taxes-on-electric-vehicles/
I don't see the point. https://www.caradvice.com.au/952528/hyundai-nexo-hydrogen-car-sets-distance-record-from-melbourne-to-broken-hill-comes-back-on-a-trailer/

I forgot. Thanks China. ****ing ****s.
Did you read the bit that says cars over 40 years old are exempt? Or the bit that said the toll is £12 a day to use the roads? Who wants to drive through central London anyway; but if you can afford a garage in central London I don’t think a toll is going to stop you using it. Talk about Clickbait!
No; I was surprised to read recently how much effort Toyota is putting into hydrogen in Australia. Way too infrastructure heavy for a big country like Aus. I have a business idea for you PP - existing shopping centres on the edges of towns, lease the outdoor carparks, put up simple carports to provide covered spaces, cover the roofs with PVs, install charging points in the parking bays and create ‘fuel stops’ for EVs.
Carport roof would be about 18sq m so about 10 panels at 400w maybe 16kW per day - these would be for a top up while you’re shopping, not full charge
Several including these guys: https://www.solaronline.com.au/400w-sunpower-maxeon-3-solar-panel.html There are some who get a bit more (I think 435 is the max currently available in Aus).
I just remembered: local big shopping centre already has undercover free EV charging; guess it’s wrapped into the parking charges (which don’t kick in until 2hours). Still, as EVs become the norm I reckon paid chargers will become a thing...
Yep, pretty much every large shopping centre here has them. Multibay set up at Gundagai too behind the Oliver Foodstop
I agree. I'm staggered at how many EV drivers will go out of their way and waste time hanging around while their car gets a free recharge instead of doing it at home.
