Not looking good for NSW FFS....
Potential clusterfoik in Sadelaide...surprisingly in a hotel... https://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-05-13/adelaide-playford-hotel-guests-told-to-quarantine-again/100135182
I wonder what part of 'it's a great idea to put quarantine folk in the same foiking hotel and on the same floor as 'ordinary' folk' the authorities don't understand' F me!!
You know 100 years ago they constructed purpose built quarantines at every major port ? Q Station in Manly could easily be started up again as could the others, so why don't we ??
For the Spannish Flu 100 years ago they built a dedicated quarantine station on an island off an island off the Australian mainland. IE Bruny Island off the main Tasmanian island so as to isolate the infectious people.
When I quarantined in Honkers Simon I was terrified I would pickup something through the hotel Aircon...I would never trust Aircon in any hotel...
...easily started up again ? Easily ? Have you been there recently ? Back in the day all the incoming arrivals shared toilets and showers That’s not exactly isolation Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Yes I have, last year, didn't share any showers or toilets with anyone .... it's pretty up market now
Sydney is currently receiving more than 2,000 inbound travellers each week. The Accor website for the North Sydney Quarantine station says they have three rooms, two suites and one bungalow available I don’t think boutique hotels are a viable solution Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
My point was that they did this before but are taking the easy , and crap, option of using existing infrastructure not built for purpose. The Toowoomba Wellcamp boys want to knock up a "Howard Springs" equivalent and the way they operate it could be up in no time at all This whole quarantine operation has been a fiasco from the start, the politicians have learnt nothing from the past

Ok, so , Pfizer or Astra ? I'm still on blood thinners for the DVT so both will be safe for me right ? I know I know, if you get it wrong PP will be happy and you just bury another mistake
