Will those clear the 260cs 380mm rotor that is the ? I know they would fit the standard 360 330mm size
I am lead to believe that 18" challenge wheels will not fit the 380mm rotors and calipers of the CS. A quick photo here shows the narrow clearance of the 19" stock wheels. Image Unavailable, Please Login
@AndreB , that sounds really cool. But also really expensive. you want to inquire with them and see the interest, volume requirement, and budgetary cost? @clean512 , good luck! I think I want something a little closer to the single piece speedline look. The vendor I reached out to is Augment Wheel Company. I don't have previous experience with them. Here is the wheel I'm looking to emulate: Image Unavailable, Please Login
If the OEM wheels are mint then it's a good idea to have a second set so you don't have to worry about damaging the originals. The HRE 305M and 527M look close enough to those Speedlines imo and can be made in exact offsets you want.
HRE has photos of cars with the 305M on the bottom here. I attached their 348 photo as I think it gives the best example of what it would look like on an Fcar with the Ferrari center caps. https://www.hrewheels.com/wheels/classic-series/305m Image Unavailable, Please Login 527M doesn't have as many photos: https://www.hrewheels.com/wheels/vintage-series/527m
That's good to know they do flush look with the spokes/hub and the rim lip. I think the Speedline spokes are pretty thick compared to that Rotiform and the 305M HRE, but the 527M HRE spoke width looks similar to the Speedline but doesn't have a lip unless HRE can get rid of that flush look.
Belive me I tried to figure out to get speedline for my 360 but with the 360cs brakes makes it very hard. I'm very passionate towards the older stuff and very knowledgeable on the modern flavor that I'm doing with modifying my 360
Personally, I think it is hard to top the CS wheels and match the elegance of the 360 design. Maybe get challenge wheels in white? regardless, enjoy in good health
I agree. CS wheels look best on the CS and one of the best OE motorsport looking wheels made by Ferrari. My buddy is considering selling these forged wheels made in Japan. Perfect 360/430 wheel fitment. Wheels are discontinued. Very light. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi! I can make anybody some Forged T6061 Wheels if anybody is interested. Whatever design they want really.
Thanks, I went to see them and I guess you refer to their TD03 model. They are nice wheels - the wheel nerd in me can see they are not TE37 though...
