    Thanks to inspriation from eric355 and his post about a wireless lift controller. I decided to try it for myself. :)

    It is a fun project and can be completed in a day once you have all the parts. I decided to add a rechargeable battery to mine, so it took an extra day. ;)

    Industrial Remote Housing



    Wireless Remote Control Relay


    DC-DC Boost Converter - To boost 3.7v to 12v


    Battery Holder for 16430 Cell


    16430 Lithium Battery

    Much of the complexity of this project can be reduced by just using the Wireless Remote Control Relay and its included FOBs and skipping the whole housing upgrade. Its just much more difficult for a giant orange industrial remote to get lost in the shop. ;)
