Why does it have to be a 6 speed ? 328 , 348 , Testarossa , 355,F 430 gated, your flush, buy an F40, its the best drivers car in the world and the best looking car to ever come out of Maranello , keep it in the family. I like Porsche, but there everywhere.

    Thank you

05/06 Ford GT for the win. Best of, last of true analog cars.

FWIW, I am 6’6” 260lbs and love my Performante. I have had it for 3.5 years. I have driven it to VIR and back from Charlotte on three different occasions. It’s tight, but I make it work. YMMV.

Although I am a fellow FGT owner, and a big fan of Cadster, it really depends on your definition of analog.....for me that means no computers, no fuel injection, manual transmission, no driver aids and a lousy air conditioner.....basically that equates to a 1979 308.....LOL.

I will say that driving a Ford GT in anger requires a great deal of driver skill, and you get rewarded in a way that no car built beyond 2006 can match.

Not the kind of car you cruise around with drinking a latte in.....

Yeah...more pseudo analog than pure analog. Nevertheless, the GT is a “grown man” car. It’s a really strange car. It drives like a throwback car, but feels oddly modern, refined, and dependable. I absolutely love it. Anyone who has never driven one, do yourself a favor a grab some wheel time.
