Getting an extra F355 Fob?

    Hey friends, my dad has a Ferrari F355, he has 2 keys but only 1 Fob, and he wanted to get a second one for the second pair of keys. When he talked to the ferrari dealer I believe they quoted him something like 1.2k USD for a new fob which seemed like quite a lot.

    Having done a bit of searching on this forum and google myself, my best understanding is that you can't just very easily clone a new Fob, but it is possible to clone it cheaper than what the dealership would provide. But also from looking at it, people specialise in cloning these fobs so since my dad lives in Norway, he is not likely to find someone there who just clones all sorts of fobs and they can help him out?

    I found this site (which I believe someone on this forum operates?) but seems like that is US.

    I have a 993 and a 355 and the fobs are identical...I'm sure I'm not the first person who's noticed this. Are they interchangeable?

    That is Mark (Gobble) and he is an excellent provider of a very needed service on this board. He can take your Dad's alarm ECU and make another independent Fob (not a clone) as well as providing the PIN code for the car. There is one catch: The frequency in Europe is different from that in the US so Mark may not have the right fob for you right away.

    Eric355 is the one in France that may be able to do the same thing.
