Progress thus far:sittin' in the Royal Warialda after pickin' up the tow rig in Warwick,thanx Wes and Horse,en route to Wellington at sparrowfart in the morn.

 

Still a couple of long days ahead by the sounds of it Simon...I guess at least it was a good test for the jags first big outing...

 

It was very brave and, all things considered, I think the car did very well.

Did that cause the bearing failure?....

 

If a bearing needs balls, then is Ian is a failure.

But if a bearing requires rollers then Ian is the high roller for you.

 

It was Klink's car that had the failure.

1st day I had water issues into Omeo .Turned out that the heater when on, was leaking water out of the heater valve .Easy fix I filled her with water and bars leak (not needed) but at the time I couldn't work out where the leak was ! So I turned the heater off in Omeo and missed lunch while I looked for water leaking .

Found the leak today when cleaning ,drained the system and refilled with water and coolant mixture and watched while the heater ran .

I'll take her on the GG, as I've cancelled the new car order and will put the T Series on full rego once I do a RWC and drive her full time ...its called comfort .

And why would you need a RWC?

 

I just don't need a new car and I prefer the old Bentley and the comfort .In just on 4 years of ownership ,I've done 15,000 miles in that car ....proof of the enjoyment I get out of her .Tasmania again in June will be the car we take on the ferry.

RWC is needed to swap a car from CH plates to full rego and the stamp duty of course is payable ...big deal on a 10k car .

Can't understand why anyone with an expensive car is prepared to ponce around with those showing.

 

Several reasons in Victoria .

Rego cheaper
Insurance cheaper
and NO stamp duty payable , so on say a 300k car a savings of 15k odd.

With the T series , I should have put her on full rego from the start .

Like I did with the S3 Flying Spur.
