Mitta Mitta ,wonderful area . In the last month with the two runs I've driven ..done just over 4,400ks in the E-type and only one issue a failed heater hose . The 1st few days of this run with the rain the setup was a shocker far too hard in the shocker settings and tyre pressures . So yesterday at Merimbula 6 in the morning i showered put the overalls on and dropped the tyre pressures and backed of the shockers to full soft , such a different car in the wet and on the rougher roads ,on the smooth roads not as well balanced in the dry ,but so much safer in the wet . I'll never sell that Jag . Carl suggested to different types of tyres ,which I can do as I've got 8 wheels . So the Avons for the dry weather runs and a set of others for this type run, just need to work on the brand . Image Unavailable, Please Login
I arrived in Merimbula after a very wet drive. I thought "hell this car is going far too well and I've got nothing to complain about'. I wondered what I could do to make it handle or run poorly, but I couldn't think of anything, so I just had to persevere. This traffic on the way home gave me the ****s, so there's that at least to complain about. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Great looking car and colour Rob...It’s a shame Simon’s car packed it in just short of the finish line....Nice turnout of different cars...
Ta, Simons car went well, it suits him , Was a great few days ,so many laughs ,drinks and the driving , IMO groups of people whom know each , beat everytime car club groups .when it comes to overnight runs .
This morning out to pick up Dylan from Toolern Vale in the T Series. Which I'll take on the 2021 GG as the drive up is a good distance and I fee like comfort after 4,600ks in the last month in Raven-Jag.. I enjoy so much the technical side of keeping the T Series on the road ....9,000 miles in just on four years. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
