https://www.ebay.com/itm/1991-Ferrari-348-TS-/133735533977?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286 That's the link I got it for 55k a bit less than the bidded price due to a small oil leak I found during inspection. Anything I should know about these cars, I'm 30 years old I always owned porsches but I'm in love with the 348 styling, I was going to grab a 360 but my father has one and I hate the f1 transmission. (The 360 is beautiful though) Sent from my SM-N981U1 using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Lots of info here.http://www.my348.com/. Check your steering rack as shown in post # 24. It makes the car handling feel wonky. Easy to fix. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/started-348-steering-rack-rebuild.591467/ Congrats!
Congrats! Welcome to the club, I cant speak for the 348 as I have a 355 but I must say the 348 looks marvelous in yellow.
Congratulations! I am 9+ years into my 1995 348 Spider stewardship. I still look into my garage and smile, all the time. Enjoy!
Congrats, was same age was you when I bought mine in 2017. Nice you've got a coloured roof too. Have you got any plans to modify? I'd keep an on the AC. My seller gave warranty & so got it fixed shortly after buying, it's never been that reliable though. Luckily the rest of the car has!
Congrats! Love the 348. Was a huge Porsche guy my whole life, after my first Ferrari I don’t care much about Porsche’s anymore.
It's definitely one of those cars that is getting better with age, so far my AC is working good, I would definitely consider modifying it I just don't know exactly what I would want to do I definitely think an exhaust might be the first thing. Sent from my SM-N981U1 using FerrariChat.com mobile app

I put the OEM Spyder Ansa can on mine. Little bit louder not too much not nearly as loud or drony as a tubi. Sent using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Well done! I have a Black/Black 1993 TS in the UK. It's reasonably well behaved most of the time, but this month its decided to lose a tooth on the diff, which is a big repair bill. Be nice to the gearbox, as everything inside it comes at a price!
Here is a list of what I have done. Many items are very cheap to do and not doing them can cause more severe issues. Like stupid check valves failing and sucking your fuel tank in like a crushed soda can. Heater pump failure can cause the HVAC panel to fail. The list goes on and on. Most every thread I read about a failed part I compiled and proactively replaced them. Other items like coils and ignitors and cam position and phase sensors just make the car run better and they also fail. Plenty of threads on those. Who wants to be stranded for lack of a $100 part. Most car parts have a high time of about a 15 years. Every bit of the list is DIY except the major and most parts x-ref to other cars part numbers at 1/3 the price. Ignition and ignitors are used on Porsche 964, same Bosch part numbers. Full clutch and TOB is next then new carpet and sound deadening (ordered Wilton wool correct color from the UK already), then it should be ready to drive and absolutely ruin it with miles. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/147223509/
This is incredibly helpful thankfully my buddy has a shop and has worked on some of these so Thursday I'm going to go over the car very well before I start to have gun with it. I'm going to reference all the things you mentioned to him on this car. Thanks again !! I'm super excited Sent from my SM-N981U1 using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Congrats Joe. 2 smart decisions: 1st was buying your 348, and 2nd was joining this group straight away. It never ceases to amaze me how much help and advice I find in older threads, and if I still can't find it, posting a new one. And FWIW, having functioning AC in a 348 is just downright showing off (as opposed to simply being a 30-year old bloke cruising around Long Valley in his shiny yellow beauty ). 15 years on I still get a thrill every time I get behind the wheel. P.S. sticky plastic - vents - you'll absolutely love that if it wasn't fixed prior to you buying it. Consider it a rite of passage .
Congratulations it’s looks amazing best of luck and enjoy Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
