    I’m looking for a very high level driver Targa. SC, Carrera or 964; unmodified. Any color considered except black. Referrals appreciated as well.

    Porsche of Norwell (near Boston) has an 83 SC Targa (slate gray over cancan red) that they restored for a Porsche event. They’ve had it for sale for a while now. If you are interested and get serious on it, happy to take a closer look for you and drive it if they’re willing, I’ve had a couple of SC Targas among the numerous 911s I’ve daily driven. I’m 10 minutes away.

    Thanks, I really appreciate your offer to take a look for me, but it’s too nice to drive. Coincidentally it’s the same color combination as an SC Targa I once owned.

    The trouble with me is I think ... it’s too nice NOT to drive ... which is why my 15 Cali T just turned 20k miles and now that it’s officially a beater I can park it anywhere ;)
