I bet hagerty value data is trailing data from insurance value estimates....
I don’t know know that much about concours but I’ve seen some entries on Top Gear and I’d say there’s typically been a repaint or wrap in an odd color or pattern and applied poorly to just the outside.
The more people hold the gated manual car the more the price will rise. The fact is there is not going to be anymore ever again so if u want to drive a MAN-ual car u get going to have to pay more. Anyone that lets a manual go for under 105 is crazy..
There are only 670 gated spiders every made. Less the ones that have crashed. Being so many used parts on the market. One could estimate at least 20+ are dead and gone so there are about 649 gated cars out there somewhere (one in my garage) so there are about 120 cars per year built with gated 6 speeds. Most know the final manual Ferraris is the F430, of which a few dozen six-speed examples were ordered each year and ended is 2009. (I’m talked mid engine Ferrari) Fast forward to 2021 you have 12 years of no manual mid engine Ferrari’s. My sister minvan has paddle shifters. And my service van also paddle shift. I would own a Ferrari with paddles if my left leg got blown off.. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Less than 500 gated coupe 360 Modena in the states!? Wow, that is a crazy low number. I believe that in the world of car enthusiasts there is a shift happening among Porsche aircooled owners. Many of them have fulfilled their Luftgekuhlt dream and itching for something else that can't be found in the new lineup of irons from Stuttgart. The new 911 are just too "astonish" to be used as a toy - albeit great cars. This leads them to the F world. (F as in Ferrari not as in F*$%). While the 355 is beautiful, maintenance costs are a big scary item. The 348s and previous cars are nice but just do not have the same fun driving experience of the 911s. F430 are raw and modern but the manuals...sheesh...they are in GT3RS and beyond territory. This leaves the P owners looking for that something different to the 360 Modena: easier to maintain, cavallino up front, fairly reliable, 8500 rpms of NA power and...gated. P owners are "usually" coupe owners so maybe they will sway towards the coupe - yet with so few made my guess is that they will take anything. Bottom line, I think Hagerty values are lagging and there is a large upside ahead for gated 360 coupe.
Was out in mine today. Nothing.. absolutely nothing like the gated experience. Not selling mine ever!
in my opinion the enthusiasts bought the gated 360's for the reasons of purpose and driving passion...... instead of just speculators..... as we see with most CS's...... they just get put up in the garage and taken out for pics... and appraisals...... I'm sure as gated values climb this will change.... so enjoy miles and smiles in your appreciating gated cars!

With all this craziness, I am personally thinking of listing my 8900mi gated Red/tan spider, am already having sellers remorse! Would love to test the market, maybe 175k? I agree with the us production numbers, mine is one of approx 350 gated red spiders.
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2001-ferrari-360-spider-23/ 143k all in with BAT fee, strong price for that spec.
Never planning to sell mine, what a great weekend car.. mine is red/tan as well. The red interior on this one is a little much for me…. Where are you getting the 350 number, I thought they didn’t release any real detail on gated production much less in Rosso corsa.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
